Communications team volunteers will further their own ambitions around

understanding the power and discipline of brand strategy,
improving copy writing and editing skills,
mastering website, print, & social media calendaring & publishing best practices,
networking with local and national communications resources & experts,
developing ownership level project management experience,
building communications campaigns tied to specific, measurable outcomes.

Our Communications team has the largest set of responsibilities and tasks, with the smallest number of active volunteers.

Current Challenges:

Allocate very scarce time and resources to optimal communications channels.
Increase our market visibility toward improved community awareness and understanding of FPAAZ impact and successes.

We have so many powerful stories to tell. Will you help us tell them?

we dedicate that 5^th Thursday to a General Circle.

In 2026, General Circles convene in April, July, Oct, but there WILL NOT be a call in April

General Circles attempt to break down silos across the organization by giving every team leader a chance to hear firsthand what other teams are working on, what hurdles or obstacles they are facing, and discover where we can:

Help each other out
Avoid duplicating things
Pay attention to resources and resource allocation
Build more effective teamwork.

If you are working on recruiting new team members or bringing a current volunteer up into leadership (succession planning) – definitely invite them to the General Circle.

Any/all active volunteers are welcome – but with 90 minutes of time, the agenda prioritizes hearing from:
